Why?

Physio is a wonderfully diverse career, with a wealth of knowledge out there for studying and professional development. However, it can feel time consuming looking for resources. As a student, then qualified physio and practice educator, this was a topic that was often brought up, 'What resources would you recommend?' 'Where should I look?'.

Physioing was developed with a simple mission in mind; to make it quicker and easier for busy physios and students to find providers of educational materials and resources, specific to their needs, specialism or interests.

Why the name Physioing?

Pronounced physio, with an 'ing' on the end. Physioing became the description for physio work in our house, 'What are you doing today?', 'I'm physioing'.

Who?

Developed by a United Kingdom, HCPC, CSP registered Physio, with a background in adult and paediatric neuro and MSK and a passion for prehab, rehab, wellbeing and continued learning. We're based in the South West, the nature themes and images on the site are from the local area. Why nature? Why not? Sometimes it's good to look at something soothing whilst researching!

How?

The directory is split between specialisms and treatment styles. If you're looking for resources in a particular field, such as MSK, neuro, orthopaedics, respiratory, etc, check out the specialisms. If you're looking for resources to work on a particular type of treatment technique, such as strengthening, balance, vestibular, Pilates, etc, check out the treatment styles.

It's always free for providers to appear in the directory. Site revenue may be generated via ads, affiliate links or sponsored posts, which will be clearly labelled. We spend time searching for relevant providers of physio educational materials and resources and also take recommendations. If you would like to make a recommendation, or have a query about the directory, please get in touch via the online contact form.

Please note we are not responsible for the content of external websites and advise all users to apply clinical reasoning to their learning and research. If any serious issues are encountered by a user of external content, please let us know by getting in contact so we may review the inclusion of the provider on the site.
